Heshika holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London and is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in corporate law, corporate governance, commercial practices and labour & employment law. She has many years of experience advising and assisting clients from a diverse range of industries from incorporation to winding-up operations.

Her qualifications in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), brings a unique blend of legal and financial expertise to her work, ensuring that practical solutions are always the end-goal, making management decisions more feasible. Heshika’s experience also extends to servicing sole proprietorships, partnerships, NGOs, VSSOs and Trusts – from everything in between registration to dissolution.

Heshika also has years of experience advising and assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, sale and purchase of businesses, corporate restructuring, amalgamations, Liquidations and statutory compliance of companies, both locally and internationally.
Being a hands-on Company Secretary herself, Heshika manages an entity engaged in corporate secretarial services for a diverse portfolio of industries, ensuring compliance and providing strategic advice on investments and corporate governance.

Heshika’s commitment to legal excellence is further evidenced by her involvement in legal research for expert panels and her contributions to global publications. With a passion for empowering clients and a focus on innovative solutions, she is dedicated to being a vital asset in achieving her clients’ success. Heshika also actively participates in research and collaboration in relation to professional development in Sri Lanka and is a member of the Sub-committee on Legal Continuous Professional Development in Sri Lanka.
